Extending Options

A recent event in Dubbo organised

 by the NatRoad, in co-operation

with the ATA and the Dubbo City

Council, was held to demonstrate the

abilities and benefits of some of the

 current generation High

 Productivity Vehicles (HPVs).

    Through a process of explanation,

 information and demonstration,

those involved hope to give people a

 better understanding of how these

 vehicles perform, and the financial,

 environmental and safety benefits

 they provide.

With Dubbo being a large freight

hub, a regional centre and a city well aware of the importance of road transport, this made the perfect location for such an event. Local transport operators, council members, media and general public were all invited to attend. Organisers were pleasantly surprised, with a larger than expected audience of around 90 people turning out on the day.
