Girl Power
After 23 years of driving trucks, Graham Brown, of Moss Vale in NSW, has got his business running just the way he likes it. Regular and consistent work is testimony to the quality of service he provides, and this is supported by the reliability of regularly upgrading to new equipment. When you talk to Graham, he is quite open about why his business is successful and how he maintains the edge over his competitors. And, the answer to that perennial problem comes down to girl power. Thanks to the effort of his daughter Cassie, Graham can drive without worrying, while Cassie runs the business. “Cassie was only 13 years old when she started running the company after I became a single parent,” said Graham. “For the past ten years she’s looked after the books, paid the accounts, kept us in good financial shape and looked after our customers. Without her there would not have been a business,” said Graham.
