 model range Pickup division. In a

 unique interview with Delivery

 Magazine, he, and chassis

 development engineer Claus Stenzel,

 outlined the research and

 development programme that has

 taken place over the past five years,

 aimed at completely rocking the

 established ute manufacturers

 globally.

    In 2011 we’ll see a single cab ute

  version added to the range, and six

  months later VW will add a cab

  chassis version that enables the

  fitment of an aftermarket tray. There are no plans for an extended single cab, but the dimensions of the standard single cab will allow for minimal stowage of small items behind the seats.
